Look What These Ladies Did Last Night!!!

We sent out quite a few FREE Digital Stamps yesterday in response to our "You've Been Stamped" campaign and Crafting Joanne and Peggy of The Wired Angel both sent us pics of the images they chose used in projects. These girls are on the BALL! I wish I had that kind of energy! LOL

First, Joanne of Crafting Joanne created this card using Frog Dropping By On A Leaf. She colored the image with copic markers, used layers of papers, ink, brads and other embellishments to give this card lots of personality. We love the way the image is partially cut out! TOO CUTE Joanne! Thanks so much for sharing your creation with us!

Next, Peggy Marsh of The Wired Angel used Rain Bear to create this great Miss You card. She used great bright, vibrant colors in Prisma Pencils and a blender pen. Her shading is wonderful! She says the bear looks sad to her so she titled the card Sure Do Miss You! What a fun card! LOVE IT! Thanks so much for sharing!

USS Ark by DeeAdd Image
Henry the Horse by Robin

Be sure and check back frequently! We add new images every week!

Rain Bear by Allie and Dee

Here are two great cards created with our Rain Bear image. Both artists used pop dots to raise certain pieces of the image creating a 3-D effect and giving the image much more interest.

Dee of DeesDivineDesigns added clear glaze to the umbrella then 'popped' it with foam dots. She also 'popped' the rubber boots. I love the distressing on the paper edges! What a great job! Thanks Dee, just super!

Allie of AlliesCreativeDesigns 'popped' the rain hat and the water lending interest to both the top and the bottom of the image! She also used clear embossing on the raindrops for a 'wet' look as well as dimension! Thanks SO much Allie, he is SO cute!!

Take a look as these WONDERFUL cards!!

We are so very lucky to have some great friends who are extremely creative. These are cards created using two of our digital stamp images by Allie and Anjou!

This image is titled Frog just dropping by on a leaf and Allie of AlliesCreativeDesigns used bright colors in Copic Markers, Colored Pencils and Embossing to make this image really pop. She cut the image out and used pop dots for a 3-D effect and used machine stitching, grosgrain ribbon and flowers to complete the look.

This image is Buddy the puppy gets ball for birthday and again, Allie did a wonderful job! She used DCWV Pet Stack papers, canvas paw print ribbons and Spellbinders nesting dies as well as Colored Pencils and pop dots. He is SO cute! Make sure you go by her blog because she is always creating!!

This is the Frog image again, this time used by Anjou of Dreaming in Color. She used patterned papers, embossing, silk - paper - & - felt flowers as well as brads to give this card extra dimension. She entered this card in Digital Tuesday Challenge! What a great job and we LOVE it! Thanks Anjou! Make sure you visit her blog!

It is SO much fun to see what others create using the same thing. We all have a different way of seeing things and can come up with completely different end projects.

Howdy! Welcome to Doodle Palace Digital Stamps

Robin and I would like to officially welcome everyone to our new blog! We are Doodle Palace digital stamps. We are located in Bryan/College Station, TX (home of the Texas Aggies WHOOP!) and we both have a tremendous passion for creating unique papercraft items. We both scrapbook and make cards using many different media to create items that are beautiful but also fun and textural. The lumpier the better! =) We have both drawn our own paper piecing patterns for our items, and still do, but thought, "What about creating stamps"? First we looked into creating actual rubber stamps but geez are they expensive, then started blog hopping and doing some internet research to find that Digital Stamps were new and people seemed to love them. Robin, being much more computer literate than I, figured out how to vectorize a hand-drawn image to create the professional looking final project that we are offering now on Etsy. It is a tedious process with nodes and bumping and ....that's all I know... =) lol!

We each have our own style and before long you will be able to tell right away which stamp was drawn by whom but we are a team and they are all Doodle Palace digital stamps! =) We are going to try really hard to create images that are versatile and can be used for many different themed items. The bears will mostly be unisex so that they can be used for boys or girls. We are not planning on putting sayings but are discussing creating doc files with sayings that you can change into whatever font you like and in any configuration to fit your project. These are just a few of the things we are working on at the moment.

We will be adding new images every week. It will depend on just how much we have been able to create each week as to how many images will be added, but 2 seems like a nice round number right now. We are also planning to have bloggy give aways. So, for following and linking our blog to yours, you will be given a FREE image to play with! Cool, huh?

Please come back and visit again! We will have lots more to add in the next few days and we will also post detailed instructions on any technique we think you may find interesting, from Blender Pens, to Watercolor Crayons to Copic Markers and Mineral Spirits. See Ya Soon!
