Lori's Challenge!! Come on in and PLAY!!!

Well, first I would like to apologize for not having a challenge last week. We had a miscommunication with our winner and the challenge just never took form. We do have a Great challenge for you all this week! Lori Padberg won our last challenge and she is this week's GUEST DESIGNER!! YAY!

For Lori's Challenge you need to use: A Digital Image, One Piece of Designer Paper and A Ribbon! Sounds like fun and there is LOTS of room for interpretation! Here is an example that Lori made using Frog in Grass! Too Cute! So, let's all run to our craft area and create something!! Thanks Lori, this is going to be a FUN, FUN, FUN challenge!!!

Below is a short questionnaire we sent to Lori to try to get to know her a little better! Please take an opportunity to do the same!

What is your favorite craft medium? I'd have to say Copics. I only have a few and I have a lot to learn as far as using them for shading, etc. but I love the variety of colors that are available and the richness of the colors.
What is your favorite scrap item/tool? For practicality I can't live without my straight edge cutter since I can't cut a straight line on my own! For fun I love my Cricut and Cuttlebug and I'm just starting to use Nestabilites which are really fun!
What is your favorite paper line/company? I don't have a favorite company, I pretty much just go with what catches my eye at the scrapbook store
What is your favorite color(s)? My favorite color is purple but I hardly ever make cards with it. For cardmaking I love browns with blues or browns with pink.
How do you have your scraproom decorated? Colors, themes, homey, contempo, etc. HA! I don't have a scraproom. I used to work at my dining room table until my husband cleared out a litle corner of the basement for me. So I craft at a small table in the corner...an area about 4x6...but it does fit a bookshelf with all my paper and other supplies. It's not much but I'm thrilled to have my own space! At least our basement is finished so it has carpet and painted walls!
Are you an animal person? Do they have a place in your scraproom? I don't have any pets but I love dogs
What is your favorite Disney movie? Do you watch TV/Movies while working? Do you get your inspiration from them? I haven't really watched a Disney movie since my kids were little but one of my favorites was Mulan. I loved the strong female hero who wasn't aspiring to be a princess! I don't watch anything while I'm crafting. I'm usually talking with my kids or listening to them talk about their days. I get inspiration from all the amazing crafters I've discovered in the blog world. There is an amazing amount of talent out there and I hope to keep being inspired and learning from everyone.
Sweet or Savory snacks? Gotta go with sweet.
Scary or Romantic movies? I'm too much of a scardy cat for scary movies so I'd have to say romantic though my overall preference would be action movies like the Terminator movies or the Bourne movies
Beach or Snow vacations? Beach.
Favorite type of music? Top 40 and rock from the 80s and 90s.

Remember crafters! We will choose a winner using Random.org and the winner not only receives 2 free images of their choosing but they also have the opportunity to choose the next challenge! Come on, you know you want to play! =)
