Challenge Winners and New Challenge!!!

This week Random.org chose #12! Katherine of Countless Joy, Congratulations!! We loved all the wonderful submissions which made it really difficult to choose our next winner. Mindy Baxter, we chose your beautiful card full of TEXTURE as our Featured Guest this week! You also win 2 FREE images! So, congratulations to our winners!! Thanks so much to everyone who participated this week!

This week our Challenge will be LOTS OF LAYERS! Our example card was created using some digital papers, LOTS of flowers, and just Layer, Layer, Layer....! This could be really fun! You can use the sketch Samantha used or just get crazy with your layering!!! LOL This is the Valentine's Day card she created for her hubby! Awww...

Samantha lives outside of Portland, Oregon. She and her husband have 2 young sons so Sam likes to try to create girly items since she is completely surrounded by BOYS! LOL. Right now her favorite crafting items are Prima Flowers and her new i-Top brad maker. She loves deep rich colors and Digital Scrapbook kits to use as printed papers. What a great idea! She loves Disney movies but doesn't have a favorite, Cars maybe! She is like totally an 80's girl and loves all 80's rock and movies, especially the Brat Pack! Thanks Samantha for the great Challenge this week!! Let's get busy!!! =)

Challenge Winners and New Challenge!!!

This week we had such a wonderful turn out that we have decided to do things just a little bit differently from now on. We will have Random.org choose a winner from all the entries but we get such great creations that we will also let our DT Princesses look over the entries and vote on a second winner whose creation will then be displayed for all to see!

This week Random.org chose #21, Julie! Yay! Congratulations! Just let us know which 2 FREE images you would like and we will send them via email along with a short questionnaire because you are also a Guest Designer!!! =)

We looked over all the wonderful entries and finally chose Moshie's card as our second winner. There is so much going on and everything is so well put together! Please let us know which 2 FREE images you would like!! Thanks so much for participating this week! This was a SUPER challenge!!

For this week's Challenge the theme is Show Me Some Texture. Ruth created this great Happy Birthday card using flowers, glitter embossed paper, machine stitching and brads/buttons for her "Texture". She would like everyone to create a card with lots of Texture!!

Ruth is a gradute student at a major university. She is married to her best friend Fortune and they have a 2.5 year old daughter, Ofure! Ruth grew up in Makurdi, Nigeria and has been creative for as long as she can remember!

New Image Release!! And...the first DT Creations!!

Today is New Image Release day here at Doodle Palace and this is the first week our new Design Team has submitted creations! This is SO exciting!!! Please take a moment to scroll down and look at all the wonderful creations!! They all did such a great job!

Amanda Boldy
created a little "just a note" card using the new Sunflower image. Wonderful color combo. The dew drops, button and ribbon really do add a lot of texture!

Annette Bowes
used Toadally Love You this week for her first ever DT creation. Love the waterlilly in the background!

Audrey Goff
used Toadally Love You in her projects this week. Love the 3-D box and book! The colors are too cute! Wouldn't these make sweet party favors?

Gloria Morizen used Toadally Love You and I Ruff You this week. Love the great embossing on the frog card. Great job coloring both images! These are Too Cute!

Jeanet Van Der Lee
used I Ruff You and wonderfully vintage colors for her card. Love the inking and the pearl accents. Great coloring as well!

Joyleen Dianne Co Lim
Used three different images this week! She has been one busy Princess!! Love the wiggle eyes on the frog! Love the bright colors and the glitter. Thanks for your hard work!! Great job!

Kelly Ledder
created this Valentine themed card using I Ruff You, black and white papers with a splash of red. What a statement this card makes.

Pauline created items this week using every image! THANKS so much! LOVE the Bee brads and the ribbons! The mushroom paper on Toadally Love You is just Perfect! Great color combos!

Ruth created wonderful 3-D images this week. Below is a box containing flowers (this blog doesn't like the inside shot and gives me a red X everytime I try to load it so just take my word!!) and a great note pad on top. The printed the image in black and white and placed it under the opaque cover so you can see it and it ties in with the colored image. Love the ladybug buttons!

Shana T.
used Toadally Love You on some really cute papers! I love the fold on this card, like a flap. Cute glitter!!

Stacie DeBurger created a super cute treat pouch card and a very cute Valentine card! These candy packets would be great for co-workers or kiddos this Valentine's Day.
